Pre Writing Techniques Research Assignment Paper (Essay Sample) Content: Writing is neither a simple, nor a simplistic task; it is an ability that some people are endowed with, yet it can also be acquired through following courses in academic writing skills that may be extensive or intensive. When one engages in writing a particular assignment, formal letter, essay of any sort, or any other piece of writing requiring the very writer to observe the standards of writing norms and rules of the academic community, they become frustrated as to how to start and delve into the writing process so that all ideas are organized in such a way that helps the reader get the thread of the writers thoughts when dealing with a specific topic that has to be developed in an essay format. In particular, writing techniques themselves differ significantly from pre-writing techniques and mechanisms in a variety of ways. In that, free writing and questioning techniques epitomize two well-known pre-writing techniques that no one can do away with if they intend to produce a high quality written piece. The very two techniques will be developed orderly on the basis of a topic revolving around my ideal job, how I will get it, along with its academic requirements and qualifications, and its anticipated and already-encountered obstacles. When dealing with free writing in writing about my ideal job, I would start with pencilling down every single idea that comes to my mind about my future job that I am yearning to get. In that, I would be writing freely that my dream job is a teacher of English that needs a higher education teaching degree that will necessitate engaging in full time courses of English language, literature, and civilization. I would, additionally, write down all learning and teaching skills required for that job. Besides, I would bring to the fore how competitive this job has become in the jobs market today. This competitiveness is harmful to some less-qualified teachers who are dying to get a job because they are in need for one. It is a motive for self-development, but also a knotty obstacle that leads many job-seekers to a no through road. All these ideas have to be written in a free manner, which means that they should be penned down regardless of serious writing rules and accuracy. It is a skill used to get to know all that you have got in mind about that specific topic so that everything written will be organized at a later stage. Grammar, composition rules, spelling, and the syntactic configuration of structures used are not as important as the act of collecting ideas and thoughts at this stage. It doesnt matter how un organized and messy my writing would look; what concerns me most is making sure I have written all that I have in mind about my topic in an automatic manner, which is amazingly helpful in making up my mind later about what I will include and what is irrelevant. This preliminary technique should be considered one of the best steps leading to the mastery of writing in a timely manner. In this context, once all ideas about my ideal job and all related issues to that job are down on paper, I would get a clearer picture of what I have to write formally with accurate rules. Respecting this step is makes great sense for good writers.Another equally important pre-writing technique is called questioning. It is, indeed, the key to smooth writing that is done accordingly. As I am dealing with the topic at hand, I have to use questioning strategy quite often on the account that it sketches the silhouette of a harmonious and coherent writing. This strategy would manifest itself in questions as follows: should I include every single idea about my ideal job? Should I just stick the requirements of the instruct...
